Holy Communion Service
By the grace of God, Holy Immanuel CSI Church Midlands celebrated its first Worship Service and Holy Communion on Sunday, 19 July 2026, at Sacred Heart Community Centre, Tamworth, United Kingdom.Â

Thank you Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas and Rev. Jenu John, whose presence, prayers, and ministry made this historic occasion truly memorable.
Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas is a senior Presbyter of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese with many years of distinguished pastoral, theological, and academic ministry.
He has served the Church in India and overseas, including supporting the establishment of CSI congregations in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He also taught at Belfast Bible College and played an important role in the formation of overseas CSI congregations, including those in London, Belfast and Dublin.
We remain grateful to Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas and Rev. Jenu John for their inspiring leadership, pastoral encouragement, and prayers as we commenced the ministry of Holy Immanuel CSI Church Midlands.Â

Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas
Rev. Jenu John is an ordained Presbyter of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese and currently serves as Vicar of CSI Holy Trinity Congregation, Dublin, and CSI Malayalam Congregation, Cork.
He completed his Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) at Gurukul Lutheran Theological College and Research Institute (affiliated with the Senate of Serampore College) and graduated with the General Proficiency Award. Before his theological studies, he served as a missionary at Bethzatha Spirituality and Guidance Centre, and was ordained Deacon in 2018 and Presbyter in 2019.
